Group Classes

Weaving energy healing and intuitive tools into every class!

Gentle Yoga

EVERY MONDAY & FRIDAY @ 10AM • 75 MINUTES

Beginner-Intermediate: In this adaptive class we take time to connect to our breath, to listen to the subtle communication of our body, and learn to cultivate our chi to fuel our practice. Each class begins with a guided meditation, we introduce breath work and body movements to help bring that energy deep into our muscles, bones and tissues. We often use props (chairs, yoga blocks, pillows, bolsters, straps, etc) to modify postures so that you have choice and variation to make each shape accessible to you, regardless of any limitations your body may be experiencing during that practice.

We begin with centering and breathing techniques, followed by movement that start to melt and unravel tense shoulders, low backs, and hips. Each class is tailored to the needs and requests of those in attendance. We do everything from heart pumping core work and fun balancing poses, to gentle and deep hip releases and muscular rebalancing techniques.

Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy

Connecting you to the wisdom that has always been within you!

This holistic healing art centers around allowing you to connect with your body and begin understanding the vast wisdom your body holds in your experiences of life. Using age old yogic and modern therapeutic approaches to deepen awareness and presence, we are able to help you accept yourself more fully. Out of this acceptance you will more easily be moved to embrace the opportunity for change, growth and enhanced well-being in body, mind, emotions and spirit.

A one-on-one session consists of practitioner assisted or prop assisted yoga postures and a dialogue process that is client-centered, open-ended and non-directive. Jess will guide you through an experience of yourself in the present moment. And what ever happens in the present moment — physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. You will find richness in your relationship to the bigger picture of how you interact and exist in the world in daily life — work, play, family and relationships.
While a series of sessions are often most helpful, profound change may occur within your very first session.

Within your body lies the story of your life, it has shaped every part of you. It speaks of your pain, grief, passion and love. It speaks in subtle and loud ways. We have forgotten how to listen to the body’s wisdom. I will help you remember.
